Watercolor Portrait

watercolor_a Kopie

Last year I took a Watercolor Class at Norwalk Community College in Connecticut. This is my first Watercolor Portrait and I’m pleased with the result. For Christmas I got a set of Watercolor paint and I’m excited to try it out. Well, after my exams in February of course. Studying keeps me very busy unfortunately.

Letztes Jahr habe ich am Norwalk Community College in Connecticut einen Aquarell Malkurs mitgemacht. Dieses ist mein erstes Aquarell Portrait. Gefaellt mir schon ganz gut.

I LOVE this! Fantastic! I make music vids on YouTube as a hobby and have been looking for just the right watercolor (found it! LOL!) to use in one of my upcoming videos. I would be honored if you would allow me to use it….I of course will credit and link to your blog. Many artists have enjoyed seeing me light up their work with music and in a new context….see your piece create new art!

Please feel free to check my channel for my style:

    Hello Jon,
I’m glad you enjoy my art and I would be honored to see it in one of your videos.
Unfortunately due to the german GEMA (its about music copyrights and that they block most of the videos) I can’t see your work. But I trust you and appreciate you asking me for permission and giving me credit 🙂
    Thank you very much,
    Annika

Awesome to hear you will allow me to use your amazing art to make some new art! I’m not sure exactly which video I’ll end up using it in, as there were several songs that I’ve been wanting to work which popped into my mind when I saw it….however, I was searching for “watercolor” images to use in a planned vid for Al Stewart’s “The Year Of The Cat” (one I really want to try something with)….and i think I may have found my “cat”! Thanks again Annika!

Don’t worry…..it’ll be beautiful, your art will rock!….and I’ll make sure you see the finished video…..or two! 😉

I’ll be in touch whenever I have something….might be awhile, but I’m excited to have this to work with.

Peace & love to Germany always from Texas!
      Jon
